WillCo Technologies Has Been Awarded the Missouri NSP Administrative Services Contract
May 21, 2009, Kansas City, MO – The State of Missouri through the Department of Economic Development has awarded WillCo Technologies, Inc. the Missouri Neighborhood Stabilization (NSP) Program Administrative Services contract. WillCo Technologies along with a team of housing and development professionals will provide the State of Missouri with administrative services support for the Department of Economic Development’s NSP.
The Missouri Department of Economic Development’s NSP is designed to rehabilitate and redevelop distressed neighborhoods. Through grants provided to the State of Missouri’s Department of Economic Development, the United States Department of Housing and Development plans to stabilize neighborhoods and stop the decline of property value.
WillCo Technologies and a team of housing and development professionals proposed a program for Missouri’s NSP to provide a web-based system centered upon a WillCo designed Missouri NSP web-portal and supported by the team’s housing and development expertise. The web-based system is cost-effective and expedient. WillCo will leverage their IT Service and Support Center in support of the web-based system.

April 22, 2009, Kansas City, MO – The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) has approved WillCo Technologies, Inc. application for certification as a qualified HUBZone small business concern (SBC). WillCo Technologies will have more access to government contracts as an SBA HUBZone SBC.
The SBA HUBZone Empowerment Contracting program was enacted to promote growth in “historically underutilized business” zones (HUBZone). Qualified HUBZone SBC’s are given more federal contracting opportunities. The idea behind the SBA HUBZone program is to promote growth, create jobs, and empower distressed communities by singling out small businesses in distressed communities.
To become a qualified HUBZone SBC, a small business must be located in a HUBZone, be owned by at least one citizen of the United States, and at least 35% of its employees must reside within a HUBZone. If a company meets all three of these requirements they may apply for certification as a qualified HUBZone SBC. As a qualified HUBZone SBC, WillCo Technologies will have access to more federal contracting opportunities.
WillCo Technologies is already the sole provider for information assurance (IA) workforce software to the United States Army. United States Army Purchases 1,000,000 End User Licenses from WillCo for Army Specific Version of IASTAR®
April 15, 2008, Kansas City, MO – The United States Army’s Army Headquarters Department of the Army Office of Information Assurance and Compliance (HQDA OIA&C) has contracted WillCo Technologies, Inc. to purchase an enterprise license for WillCo’s IASTAR® software and support. The license will cover 1,000,000 end users for the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS).

Kansas City, MO, October 26, 2007 – WillCo Technologies, Inc. has joined in the Downtown Kansas City, MO revitalization. WillCo has opened an office at 929 Walnut Street in the heart of the Financial District. The 5,000 square foot office will be WillCo’s new IT Service and Support Center.
Along with the Sprint Center and the soon to open Power and Light District, WillCo has joined in the Downtown revitalization by leasing a 5,000 square foot space to serve as the IT Service and Support Center. While corporate headquarters will remain in Overland Park, KS, the new space will be the main center of operations.
